Yankees Minor League Links April 4th

Happy Almost Opening Day!  Although they already played in Japan, which after the Yankees did it and it hurt them, I hate; Miami plays tonight to open their new park to the regular season; and half the league opens tomorrow, the Yankees don't open until Friday against the Rays.  On to the links:

The Charleston RiverDogs released their opening day roster.  This season they are stacked. It has almost half of the top 20 Yankees prospects on it including standouts Gary Sanchez, Mason Williams, Dante Bichette Jr., Cito Culver, Angelo Gumbs, and Tyler Austin.  That is definitely a team to watch heading into next season.

This is somewhat old news, now, but Dante Bichette Jr. had a great first day on the big league team during spring training.  He hit two home runs.

Yankees Fans Unite continued their Yankees Prospect Watch, with Manny Banuelos.

Fangraphs did a write up on the top on the top five prospects teams may regret trading.  Number one on that list was none other then the Yankees' Jose Campos.  Even with Pineda out that trade is looking better then ever.

David Phelps made the Yankees today, a Welcome to Yankee Stadium post should be coming after he makes his first major league appearance.
