Arizona Fall League Recap

As promised here is a final update on how Yankees players did in the AFL.

Rob Segedin hit .250 with 3 HRs, 6 doubles, 21 runs, 12 RBIs in 29 games.
Dan Burawa went 1-4 with a 7,53 ERA, 11 strikeouts, 8 walks in 12 games and 14.1 innings.
Preston Claiborne went 0-2 with a 3.00 ERA, 8 strikeouts, 7 walks in 12 game and 12 innings.
David Phelps went 2-2 with a 4.41 ERA, 28 strikeouts, 9 walks in 8 games started and 32.2 innings.
Chase Whitley went 0-1 with a 1.62, 13 strikeouts, 5 walks in 12 games and 16.2 innings.
Ronnier Mustelier hit .344 with 2 HRs, 3 doubles, 8 runs, 6 RBIs in 16 games.
Corban Joseph hit .227 with 2 HRs, 8 doubles, 14 runs, 11 RBIs in 25 games.

Overall the Yankees did not have a great fall league.  Only Mustelier and Whitley had solid league play but then again none of these players are top guys so this was only to see if any of them could separate themselves.  Hopefully this will help some of these guys blossom next minor league season as they got to see some top opponents in this league.
