Yankees Sign Justin James

The Yankees have come to a contract agreement with 13th round pick, left fielder, Justin James.  The interesting part about James is that he gave up baseball during his senior year of high school to focus on basketball.  He then rediscovered baseball in college when his basketball skills were not panning out and had a great 2011 season.  He is thought to have many tools but is very raw.  This leads me to the conclusion that he will be sent to the Golf Coast League.  However, since he went to college he has a chance of going to Staten Island but I wouldn't count on it.  Info on his and Stafford signing here.
