Yankees Draft: 4th round - Matthew Duran 3B

H:6'1"
W:205
H/T:R/R

The Yankees select another 3B in the fourth round out of New Rochelle High School in New York.  Just like the high schoolers drafted before him he has signed a letter of intent, him to Fordham University but hopefully that will not actually happen and he will be a Yankee.

At New Rochelle he is two time All-League selection, voted to the All-Section team as a junior, and was his team MVP.  Rated by Perfect Game USA as the top national prospect.  Matthew also plays for Hank's Yanks a team set up by Hank Steinbrenner.

During his senior season he hit almost .600 with 10 HR, 41 RBIs, and 31 walks in 18 games.
