Prospect Update May 19th

Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees were rained out

Trenton Thunder 9-6 victory in 16 innings over the Erie SeaWolves
In this game the Thunder offense had a good day.  Top prospect Austin Romine went 2 for 7 with a double, a run and a RBI.  Brad Suttle went 1 for 6 with a HR, a run, and 3 RBIs.  Corban Joseph went 1 for 6 with a run.

On the pitching side, switch pitcher Pat Venditte went 1 inning striking out 2.  Kei Igawa went 4.2 innings giving up only 1 run.  I don't know if he can be considered a prospect, but he is a notable name in the Yankee system.
